Snake Bay and Vaersen Bay

In a village called Boca Sami you will find the hidden Snake Bay (Slangenbaai). The name Snake Bay does not originate from snakes in the area but instead because back in the day locals believed all the small eels found here were snakes. We will depart from the Porto Mari Sports Diving School in the morning and begin our first dive at the romantic Snake Bay. You can easily enter the water at this tiny site and the reef is an easy swim from the coast. Once under water you will find a beautiful stretch of reef teeming with diverse marine life.

The second dive is on the fully facilitated beach Vaersenbay (Vearsenbaai) where we will have time for a nice lunch at the restaurant. After lunch we will begin the second dive. What makes Vearsenbay so special are the schools of fish that attract barracudas and different types of bass. . Here at Vaersenbay you have nice calm water and almost no current with another easy walk into the water and swim to the reef. . The combination of these two dives will make your day a perfect day.
