Snake Bay & Kokomo

In a village called Boca Sami (Sint-Michiel), you will find the hidden Snake Bay (Slangenbaai). Snake Bay bears the name not because there are so many snakes, but because they thought that the snakes they found there were actually eels or moray eels.

We will pick you up or we will meet on-site. We’ll begin our first dive at the romantic Snake Bay. You can easily enter the water at this tiny site. The reef is close to shore and is easy to reach. Under water you will find a vast beautiful reef, including large colonies of finger coral and other amazing marine life.

The second dive is on the fully serviced beach of Vaersenbaai, nowadays better known as Kokomo beach (after the song of the Beach Boys). What makes this dive site so special are the schools of fish that swim around here, which in turn attract barracudas and different types of jacks and groupers.

Here at Vaersenbay you have nice calm water and almost no current with another easy walk into the water and swim to the reef. . The combination of these two dives will make your day a great day.

We can organize the trip at +/- 4 hours or with a somewhat longer break for lunch, for example at the restaurant of Kokomo. Sometimes we do the trip the other way around.
