SNORKELING

If you want to see exotic, colorful fish, just stick your head under the water. Take some fins, a snorkeling mask and a snorkel and Curaçao's underwater world will reveal it's beauty for you.

The clear blue Caribbean Sea is not only ideal for scuba diving but also for snorkeling. Therefore, we've set out two special snorkeling trails. These trails are made out of reefballs on which the coral grows and young fish can grow up safely. The reefballs were put there in March 2001 and are a great success; beautiful to see for beginners as well as the advanced, and good for nature.

If you want to know the names of the fish you are looking at, you can buy a waterproof reef fish card or look it up in one of the fish books in our shop. If you want more information about the reefballs or the underwater life in general, you can take snorkeling lessons - ideal for getting the hang of it.
